Huddle Information

What:

An FCA Coaches Huddle is a small group Bible Study for coaches that coach teams at all levels on campus and in community club/travel sports. A Coaches huddle can consist of a coaching staff or it can be made up of coaches from various teams.

Where:

The best answer to this question is “Wherever works best for the coaches involved.” Coaches Huddles meet in a variety of locations including a of rooms/offices on campus, restaurants/coffee shops, homes, etc. 

When:

The best answer to this question is “Whenever works best for the coaches involved.” Many times the Coaches huddles on campus meet in the morning before school starts. Other coaches huddles will meet once a week at a pre-determined time (morning, noon or night) and location in the community chosen by the coaches.

    Huddles can be lead by:

    • A coach
    • Another adult serving as a bible study leader
    1. Complete a Ministry Leader Appplication 
    2. Complete the Ministry Certification Request
    3. Contact FCA staff

  • Attend

    Connect with your local FCA staff to find a Bible study near you with other coaches!

THE PURPOSE

Timeouts are critical for victory. Just like in competition, your marriage needs time set aside when you can catch your breath, evaluate where you’re at, and refocus on the game plan.


CTO events are designed to help you and your spouse:

Rest Meaningfully—A timeout can shift momentum. A change of pace with a change of place provides a change of perspective. Evaluate the game plan of your marriage and make necessary adjustments to help you win at home.

Renew Spiritually—The heartbeat of CTO events centers on your faith journey. Transformation in your marriage is possible through Jesus Christ. Whether it’s your first CTO event or you’ve lost count of how many you attended, your faith will deepen through Christ-centered biblical teaching.
